On God Bless The Animals, Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music said “To me that sounds like a 21st century reimagining of the Flying Lizards, a sort of fuzzy upbeat new wave stomp”

Destroy // Exist said – God Bless the Animals is an enchanting new wave and electropop-inspired piece which encapsulates the perplexing energy of the B-52’s and Tom Tom Club, as well as the motorik/post rock sophistication of Stereolab in a dense and authentic total.”

Analogue Trash said – “God Bless The Animals is pure fun to listen to. The arrangement is bright on the whole, even as it hints at the early days of New Order and the rhythmic intensity of Can and Stereolab. It balances that with some arch indie-style vocals along with lyrics than seem designed to be sung along to, forgetting your own inhibitions, but absorbed slowly. If you like Wet Leg and Soccer Mommy, you’ll find a lot here to interest you.”

Where the Music Meets said – “An Age Found, the opener to the record, has shown up on our radar this past week, and we had to mention it. It is a very peculiar piece of spaced-out dream pop, capturing the feeling of a hazy atmosphere crashing down on us via lo-fi production ala early Deerhunter or Candy Claws. Lead singer Juli Holz’s vocals are one of the biggest selling points of the track, as she roams around the hazy landscapes of the tune like a master of the craft – a more understandable Elizabeth Fraser. There’s a slight hint of krautrock influence on the track as well, as the beat (almost motorik) traps us amidst a foggy highway when the guide is Juli’s vocals”
